What fabrics can I use SupaDTF on?
SupaDTF works on almost any fabric including cotton, polyester, blends, and performance fabrics. The lower-temperature adhesive reduces the chance of heat marks on sensitive materials like polyester.
What fabrics can I NOT use this heat transfer on?
SupaDTF heat transfers are not designed for fabrics with waterproof coatings or anything with dye that could migrate, like patterned polyester or dark denim. If you’re not sure if your fabric will bleed or not, it’s a good idea to use our Blocker transfer just to be safe (or Softshell Blocker if you’re printing on softshell fabric). These will block any dye migration.
How do I apply SupaDTF?
SupaDTF uses hot peel application for fastest results. Press at the recommended temperature and time for your specific fabric type. The adhesive provides excellent, consistent application across all fabric types.

Is there a minimum order required for SupaDTF?
There's no minimum – you can order just one transfer if that's all you need. SupaDTF gives you maximum flexibility for short runs, samples, and print-on-demand.
Can I print Pantone colours with the SupaDTF heat transfer?
SupaDTF does not currently offer PMS colour matching. For projects requiring precise PMS colour matching, we recommend our Hybrid transfer products which support accurate PMS colour reproduction.
What sizes are available?
SupaDTF is available in sheets from 50mm x 50mm up to 300mm x 560mm, or in rolls (SupaDTF Supagang) for custom gang sheet printing.

Can I do photographic prints or gradients?
Yes! SupaDTF supports halftones and fadeouts, giving you full gradient capability and photographic detail.
How does SupaDTF compare to other DTF transfers?
Our advanced 8-color digital system delivers brighter whites and more vibrant colors than standard DTF. The lower temperature adhesive and superior color accuracy mean better results with less risk of heat marks or color variations.
Will my colours be accurate?
Our 8-colour system provides excellent colour accuracy for brand matching. If you need to match a specific previous order exactly, add "Repeat colours" in the order comments and our team will reach out to ensure we nail the match.
How durable are SupaDTF heat transfers?
They’re independently proven to last 80+ washes before they show any signs of fading or cracking. For most people, that’s a few years – usually longer than the garments they’re printed on!
What heat presses are compatible with SupaDTF?
Like all of our transfers, the SupaDTF is a professional-grade heat transfer that can be used with an air-operated or manual heat press. However, it is NOT designed to be pressed with a domestic iron, or the Cricut Easy Press or any other presses without adequate pressure settings.

Are SupaDTF heat transfers eco-friendly?
You bet. Like all of our transfers, they’re made from water-based inks, not plastic-based, and are OEKO-Tex certified, so you know they’re not harmful to you or the planet.
Can I use SupaDTF heat transfers on headwear?
Yes, but only if you’re printing where the design won’t go over seams (e.g. on a five panel cap). If you want to print over seams, use our Headwear transfers. These are designed specifically for that, and will print beautifully over seams and even mesh without cracking.
I’m not sure whether I should use SupaDTF or Wearable heat transfers — how do I choose?
The SupaDTF and Wearable heat transfers have a lot of similar uses. The decision really comes down to quantity. SupaDTF is more economical for less than 20 pieces. For anything more than that, it’s more economical to use the Wearable.
Can I start out with SupaDTF but do a longer run with another option like the Wearable transfer?
There will be a slight colour difference between SupaDTF and other transfers because they’re made using different printing processes. However, unless your garments need to match exactly because they’ll be seen side by side, this shouldn’t be cause for concern.
How long will it take to arrive?
After you’ve placed your order, your transfers will leave our factory within 1-2 business days. Delivery times will vary depending on your location.
Are there any hidden fees?
No, we don’t charge any extra fees except shipping, which is calculated before checkout.
Can I order custom gang sheets?
Yes! Check out SupaDTF Supagang for roll options and custom gang sheet layouts.
