What are my order shipping options in New Zealand?

Supacolour’s standard domestic shipping options are New Zealand Couriers and New Zealand Post. We use overnight services with both, covering the whole of NZ. Freight is calculated when you order and is added to when you checkout. If you are local to Whangarei, you can also collect.

Im based in Australia or elsewhere, what are my shipping options

To ship to Australia and internationally we use DHL Express to ship your order. We will calculate your shipping costs prior to dispatch, and it will be added when you checkout.

Do you ship internationally?

Yes, we ship all over the world. Supacolour NZ handles Australia/Pacific/Asia and New Zealand.

If you are located outside of these areas, Supacolour has factories in North America  and the United Kingdom. Please contact us before placing your order and we will work out the best facility to service you.

Most orders placed Monday through Friday ship within 1-2 days. Larger volumes will take longer. Please contact us for an estimate.

Is Supacolour eco-friendly?

How long can i store my unpressed transfers?

All our transfers have a shelf life of 12+ months when stored correctly. Keep them sealed in an airtight container or in the original bag they were shipped in with the silica gel sachet, and store them somewhere dry and out of direct sunlight.

Does Supacolour have art templates for different transfer sizes?

Yes, we have a comprehensive template page that will help you work out what size you need, and then you can download a template for that size. Using our templates ensures that you provide Supacolour with the best possible file so your transfers will turn out awesome. You can also download the templates from the product pages.

What transfer sizes are available?

Most of our heat transfers are available as small as 40 x 40 all the way up to up to A3 300 x 420. We also have Supagang sheet options available. Just find the right size category that’s right for you. See the product pages for information about each types sizing.

What files work best for Supacolour?

Check out our [art specs](https://store.supacolour.co.nz/pages/art-specs) page for more information on this. We prefer vector PDF, but we can accept other files if they are prepared correctly. For best results, use our downloadable templates and follow the instructions contained in them.

What colour profiles can Supacolour print?

Accepted Answer

Supacolour’s default print process is CMYK (actually, we run a seven-colour process that gives Supacolour transfers more range in the colour spectrum). We have the ability to Pantone (PMS) colour match. All you need to do is indicate the colours in your order. We don't print RGB files. If artwork is supplied in RGB, we convert it to CMYK.

What if I am not sure my artwork is setup correctly?

Follow our art specifications as best as you can. If you are still not sure, submit your order to us anyways. We will review your order and notify you if there are any issues. Supacolour will work with you to make sure that we help you print the best transfers possible.

Does Supacolour provide art proofs?

Accepted Answer

No, Supacolour does not provide art proofs as a part of the ordering process. Our goal is to produce your heat transfers as quickly as possible. Our process is very accurate. As long as you upload great artwork, we’ll make great transfers.

Step 1: Choose the transfer that works best for the fabric you want to print on.

To see pricing, browse the product pages, upload your artwork, and pricing shows automatically.

Are there any other fees to consider?

No, we’ve removed the complexity of ordering heat transfers: no tricky calculations, hidden fees or rush charges. Shipping is not included in the price of the transfers and is added in the checkout process.

Question 21

What do I need to know before I order Supacolour?

Accepted Answer

You will need to know what fabric you will be printing on to determine which Supacolour transfer you should order.

You also need an art file of the design you want us to produce.

Question 22

Does Supacolour have a minimum order quantity?

Accepted Answer

For our SupaDTF products, no, you can order as few as 1 transfer.

For all our other transfers, our min quantity is 10.

You cannot split this minimum between sizes or transfers. For example, if you want to print the same design on a Wearable and a Blocker, you’ll need to order at least 10 Wearables and 10 Blockers.

Does Supacolour charge by the colour?

No, we don’t charge by the colour. The price is the same whether you print one colour or a million.

How do I pay for my order?

Accepted Answer

**When ordering through the retail storefront**, you can pay with a credit or debit card (Visa, Mastercard, American Express), Apple Pay, Google Pay, or Afterpay. Your payment is taken when you check out.

**When using our B2B site**, Supacolour charges your credit card when your order is ready to ship.

What if there is a problem with my order?

We’ll make it right. Please inspect your order when it arrives.  If there is a problem, notify us immediately by emailing us at orders@supacolour.co.nz.  Provide us with your job number and details about the problem, and we’ll fix it, even if it means reprinting your heat transfers for no extra cost. You can buy Supacolour with confidence.

Can I use Afterpay?

Yes — Afterpay is available on supacolour.co.nz for retail orders. Split your total into 4 equal, interest-free fortnightly payments over 6 weeks, with the first payment taken at checkout.

A few things to know:

- Afterpay is for retail orders only — it isn't available on the B2B / wholesale site.
- You'll need an existing Afterpay account; eligibility, limits, and any late fees are handled by Afterpay (not by us).
- Afterpay's NZ limit is typically around NZD $2,000 per order, so very large orders (e.g. heat presses above that) may not be eligible and will need a card instead.
- The "or 4 payments of $X with Afterpay" line on product pages only appears when the order total qualifies.

To use it, pick Afterpay at checkout, complete the redirect to Afterpay to authorise the plan, and you'll be returned to Supacolour with your order confirmed.

Do you offer payment terms on wholesale accounts?

Are Supacolour transfers hot peel or cold peel?

Accepted Answer

With the exception of our SupaReflective transfers, Supacolour transfers are designed to peel immediately while hot from pressing (this is known as a hot peel). We recommend you peel fast and smooth with confidence. For SupaReflective transfers, you should wait for the transfer to cool before peeling (known as a cold peel).

What kind of heat press do you need?

Supacolour is a professional-grade heat transfer that can work with both an air operated heat press or a manual heat press.

Important: Supacolour is NOT designed to be pressed with a domestic iron or pressed without adequate pressure settings, such as the Cricut Easy Press.

Question 30

Can you help me troubleshoot my pressing?

Accepted Answer

Not all heat presses are created equal! If you are using a Manual Press and are having issues they may be due to insufficient pressure. Pressure should be firm to very firm pressure. The trick is to find the firmest pressure without the possibility of damaging the fabric. Each press is unique!

Test with our sample kit (or extras that come with regular orders) to find your sweet spot.
