Promotional gear often has a coating or is made from non-standard material, which standard heat transfers won’t adhere to properly. If you use an alternative to Promotional heat transfers on promo items, you risk damaging the item from overheating it, or having a print that doesn’t adhere properly from underheating it. The Promotional transfer is specially formulated to adhere to non-standard fabrics and materials.
You can print on anything that can withstand heat press temperatures of 260-320°F. This includes shoes, bags, backpacks, lanyards, coolers and more. You can also explore heat pressing on non-traditional materials like cardboard and wood, or tackle large objects like suitcases, tents and sunbrellas by using a compressed air heat press. You bet. Like all of our transfers, it is made from water-based inks, not plastic-based, and is OEKO-Tex certified, so you know it’s not harmful to you or the planet.
Like all of our transfers, the Promotional transfer is a professional-grade heat transfer that can be used with an air-operated or manual heat press. However, it is NOT designed to be pressed with a domestic iron, or the Cricut Easy Press or any other presses without adequate pressure settings.
